Glasgow Holiday Cottage is your ideal home from home whatever your reason for visiting this friendly, vibrant and beautiful city.  Perfectly set up for singles or couples, we can accommodate up to 3 people (one on the sofa bed) plus children under 2 for whom we can offer a cot, highchair and baby bath.

While noted for its quiet, leafy location and access to the garden it is close to first class public transport facilities, excellent local shops and independent restaurants and coffee shops. Catching up with family and friends?

We are close to the University and have a fully equipped kitchen diner for family meals. Ask for more chairs and plates if you need them.

A stop on your tour of Scotland?

Leave your car on the drive and enjoy a city break with an opportunity to deal with the washing. Take the direct train to visit Edinburgh, Loch Lomond or the Firth of Clyde Islands. Your hosts are on site to suggest places to go and to offer maps and guides.

Hydro Concert?

Skip the parking charges - it’s one stop on the train, a quick taxi ride or a 35 minute stroll. And there are loads of good eateries en route.

Short term work contract?

The cottage is warm and comfortable whilst light and airy; the high speed wifi is great for Zoom meetings and the kitchen table makes an excellent workstation with a garden outlook. We frequently host stars from Scottish Opera on 2-month rehearsal and performance contracts. Ask about our long stay rates.

Looking for a change of scene?

Come and go through your own entrance. Enjoy our characterful interior with its original mid-century vintage pieces. Take your coffee to the one of the many sunny spots in the garden.

Disabled access

While Partickhill is noted as a desirable area, there is a clue in the name and we have steps throughout the accommodation and front and back gardens. Please ask if you need to know more.
